What is Microneedling?

Microneedling is a procedure that utilizes several patented technologies in the treatment of aging skin and acne scarred skin. EPN Microneedling comfortably creates thousands of micro-injuries in the skin to trigger the body’s natural wound healing process. This controlled process leads to skin remodeling, including the formation of collagen and elastin. How does Microneedling work?

EPN is the abbreviation of "Electroporation Needle". It is a therapy to rejuvenate the skin using micro needles stimulating the mesoderm (middle layer of skin) without any scarring and boosting the natural skin healing process and the collagen rearranging process. It is the newest innovative product delivering device to deliver the product, such as an HA (hyaluronic acid) directly to the skin, to give appropriate stimulation to the area without damage of the skin. Is EPN Microneedling painful?

Most patients experience minimal to no discomfort during their procedure. A topical anesthetic agent is applied for 30 minutes prior to your procedure.

How long does the procedure take?

The duration of a microneedling procedure can vary depending on several factors, including the area being treated and the specific concerns being addressed. Generally, a typical microneedling session at Time 4 U Med Spa can take anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour.

During the procedure, your skincare professional will thoroughly cleanse your skin and may apply a topical numbing cream to ensure your comfort. Once the numbing agent has taken effect, a specialized device equipped with fine, sterile needles will be gently moved over the targeted area. The device creates controlled micro-injuries in the skin, stimulating the body's natural healing response.

What areas can be treated?

EPN is effective on all body parts, including the face, neck, and décolletage.
